A: Will I actually own land? No you own the trees. Most of the land used for tree farming is leased from farmers who often stay as rangers in the forest.

B: Can I get money back or sell? You can transfer ownership, give away, or sell trees at market price.  If you give the trees time to grow, the price will increases as the dividends goes up.

C: Is the site secure if I pay with my Credit Card? Our site is secure and we use the world’s largest money handler, ‘Paypal’ is also part of eBay. They will accept most cards and should you have trouble registering, please email us at info@greenplanetprogram.com.

D: Do I get proof of ownership? When you register, (buy a tree), you are prompted to click confirm; the system instantly sends you an email confirming your transaction. Using your forest password, you can now go to member’s area, and check your expanding forest.

F: How do I know that the trees I buy will be planted? We are planting more trees that are being purchased; The growing trees will be monitored, estimated by a physical count and satellite biomass data captured. Need more information? See Rules & Rights in the member’s area or ask..

G: How many trees are required to sequester a ton of carbon? Twelve trees in the subtropics with good rainfall will sequester one tonne of carbon yearly, at $40 per tone; one tree with a $3 dividend should sell around $50.00.
